TOTTENHAM V ASTON VILLA BETTING FORM

Tottenham have had a torrid start to the new year, failing to win their first three games of 2026. Spurs’ last game will have left a sour taste in the mouth, with Thomas Frank’s men conceding a stoppage-time Antoine Semenyo goal to lose against Bournemouth. Fans will be hoping that their league form doesn’t carry into the FA Cup, though their first game will be against the very side who knocked them out last season’s edition, Aston Villa.

TOTTENHAM RECENT FORM

LOSS: Bournemouth 3-2 Tottenham, 7th January 2026
DRAW: Tottenham 1-1 Sunderland 4th January 2026
DRAW: Brentford 0-0 Tottenham, 1st January 2026

Aston Villa haven’t quite managed to continue the incredible form they ended 2025 on but they are still unquestionably formidable opponents. Unai Emery’s side had a great FA Cup run last season, getting all the way to the semi-finals and beating Spurs 2-1 in the 4th round along the way. Villa fans will also be encouraged by the fact that their side has already beaten Tottenham this season, winning 2-1 in the Premier League back in October. How will they kick off their FA Cup campaign?

ASTON VILLA RECENT FORM

DRAW: Crystal Palace 0-0 Aston Villa, 7th January 2026
WIN: Aston Villa 3-1 Nottingham Forest, 3rd January 2026
LOSS: Arsenal 4-1 Aston Villa, 30th December 2025

WHAT ARE THE BEST ODDS ON TOTTENHAM V ASTON VILLA?

These two sides come into this fixture at almost identical odds. Spurs have the home advantage, but Villa are unquestionably the more in-form of the two. The visitors come into this game at 31/20 to win the match, or 29/20 in our 2 Up market, which pays out if your team goes up by two goals at any point. Hosts Tottenham can be backed at 13/8 to win, or at 29/20 in our 2 Up market.

If you’re expecting a stalemate after normal time, you can back a draw at 5/2, though these two sides haven’t finished a game all-square in over a decade, with 24 decisive results played out since a 1-1 draw back in 2012.

TOTTENHAM V ASTON VILLA FOOTBALL SPREAD BETTING PRICES

We also offer a number of spread betting markets for Saturday’s clash, including our “Goal Supremacy” market. This market currently has the two sides inseparable, with Spurs currently favoured by -0.1 - 0.1 goals. This means that if you placed a “buy” bet, you would need Tottenham to win to start turning a profit, and if you sold you would need an Aston Villa win. A draw will make up at zero, and return/cost nothing for both buyers and sellers.

You can also bet on the total number of goals scored during the game with our Total Goals market. This is currently set at 2.7-2.9. If you’re expecting plenty of goalmouth action, you would “buy” and would need at least three total goals to turn a profit. Alternatively, if you expect a low-scoring affair, you could “sell” and would need two goals or fewer to turn a profit.

If you sold and the game ended 1-0, you would win 1.7 times your stake. However, if you sold and the game ended 4-2, you would lose 3.3 times your stake. It’s important to remember that when spread betting, if your bet loses, you can lose multiples of your stake, so be sure to choose appropriate stake sizes for each market.
